Our 24 Hour Care program offers you or your loved one the ability to remain in the comfort and convenience of your own home. You or your loved one will receive one-on-one care that is not common in residential facilities. In the day-to-day provision of care services we provide on a daily basis, we tailor our service to meet the individual and family needs of our clients.
Our services do more than keep you or a loved one in control of day-to-day life; they provide security and peace of mind that can only be provided by someone who is kind and skilled to assist as you need it.
A service that relieves the strain of family members by taking over time-consuming tasks such as hospital appointments and shopping, and a service that ensures a healthy diet is maintained with meal planning and preparation.
As a companion, we can provide you or your loved ones with a trusted face; someone you can enjoy talking to, sharing interests with, and having a comfortable relationship with. There is consistently evidence showing that loneliness is associated with premature death, depression, dementia, and poor health self-assessment.
Companionship care can include several types of services within this overall approach to elderly care, including dementia care. Examples include:
Having a conversation over a cup of tea
Reminiscing about the past,
Discussing with you what may be needed in terms of light housekeeping
- Discussions regarding meal choices and preparing meals
- Attending events and shows
- Attending shopping trips
- Visiting friends and family
- Running errands
- Going for walks or getting fresh air in the garden
We provide comfort and ease of home to patients with progressive or advanced terminal illnesses and conditions. TSB Care members are all fully trained to provide end-of-life care and encouraged to continuously progress with education. Keeping in mind our client's and their loved ones' wishes, we provide end-of-life care that is person-centered and sensitive.
You and your family will be included in our personalised Care and Support plans depending on your loved one's needs. Every plan is different, but will typically include the following:
- Implementation of personal wishes
- Medication for distressing symptoms
- Personal care and grooming
- Managing pain making sure you or your loved is comfortable
